OUR Story
Our story begins between central and southern Italy, where my family lived close to the land-shepherds, farmers, beekeepers, bird hunters, and seamstresses. Hardworking people who loved using their hands and being outside in nature. As a first-generation Italian American, I carry on that legacy in the woods and tall grass fields of New York.
With my family, our hunting dogs, and the bees. We live a simple, honest life rooted in tradition, humility, and grit-always with deep respect for the land and all who share it. This honey is a small taste of that life-wild, raw, and made with heart.
Meet your beekeeper
Hi l'm Alyssa, face behind The Hunters Honey. I loveeee being outside. Learning about honeybees, incorporating their sense of community, and resilience into my own life. When I'm not working as an Occupational Therapist- I like to spend my days in the apiary, hunting, experimenting with foods, hanging with loved ones + animals, and helping others whenever I can. Who really knows how long we're all here for. Be kind, have fun, romanticize your mf life! All are welcome.
I hope to encourage others to spend more time outdoors, and to respect nature.
